I admit it, I didn’t like Twitter. I’m still not really big on it, but I do have an account now. At first, I wrote if off as a sort of fad that would go the way of jerry-curls and disco music. That’s until I started seeing lots of bloggers get more traffic due to their Twitter followers.
Over at ProBlogger.net, I found an interesting article on how you can get more people interested on your blog or site through Twitter. I’ll give you a quick rundown of the most important topics, but I suggest you check out the article.
-    Ask Questions: Don’t just tell your friends you posted something new, ask them a question to engage them in the conversation.
-    Comment on your blog’s comments: Once people start commenting on an article, let people on Twitter know that they’re doing it, so they can join the debate.
-    Ask for promotion: Just ask your buddies to favorite you or recommend you though social networks or sharing services.
Spreading information about your site is key. This could be a great way to get more people interested in what you have to say or your site’s overall concept.
