GMail is Down: The World is Over

Image representing Gmail as depicted in CrunchBase

I’m mad. My morning routine has just been hampered by Gmail not working. You might think I’m overreacting (and I probably am, but it’s not your blog, so you don’t get to think), but this is huge.

The BBC just covered it. People are going crazy on Twitter. And all because Google’s trusty online mail client isn’t working properly. Should we be mad? Yes. Why, you ask? Well, I read somewhere that Gmail was guaranteed to work for 99.9% of the time. Well, it’s not working.

Everybody and their mothers uses Gmail. Call me crazy, but this probably is affecting productivity worldwide. I can’t check my email, so I really don’t know what’s going on, and I can’t answer emails I had to answer this morning.

Oh well, I’m going back to the fallout shelter now, because the world is about to end.

UPDATE: Gmail lets me log in, but nothing else works. This is kinda worst than having it not work in the first place.
