Hate Facebook Alerts? Nutshellmail Has What You Need

I admit it, I’m addicted to Facebook. Besides being a great place to meet friends, play games, find old friends, etc., it’s plain fun. What’s not so fun about Facebook are the constant email alerts you get when someone sends you a message, pokes you,  or comments on something you posted.

With that in mind, the folks at NutshellMail have come up with a way for you to avoid all those pesky Facebook alerts. With their new Facebook app, you’ll be able to pump all those alerts to your NutshellMail inbox, and you’ll get alerts on your schedule. This is aimed towards the heavier Facebook user, but it’s useful nonetheless. Facebook alerts can get annoying (specially on birthdays, when everyone is commenting on your Wall).

I had a talk with Mark Schmulen about this yesterday, and there are many things I can’t tell you about on the way. NutshellMail is shaping up to be a very productive application, which has the potential to change the way you look at email (read more about NutshellMail on Killerstartups.)
