Tips/AdviceSocial Networks for Entrepreneurs
Facebook is great for high school losers who want to see what their crush is up to, but what about us serious folk? Well, Mashable recently posted a list of the best social networks for entrepreneurs, and it’s worth taking a look at.
Here are the ones that drew our attention the most:
- Entrepreneur Connect: It’s a social network started by the same folks who produce Entrepreneur Magazine. It’s aimed towards entrepreneurs (d’uh) and small business owners.
- PartnerUp: Looking for a partner to help you in your business venture? If you are, then this is the place to go.
- LinkedIn: This one is obvious, but if you still haven’t got your LinkedIn profile, then it’s time you do it. It’s similar to Facebook, but without the obnoxious status messages and people “poking” you.
- The Funded: This one is great for anyone trying to get funding, in order to research funding methods and read about successful rounds of funding other companies have had. It’s very interesting to see where some of the money comes from.
These are the ones that drew our attention, but there are many more. Do you know of any up and coming social networks we haven’t mentioned?
