What You Need to Make Your eCommerce Site Successful
Some claim eCommerce is dead, but that’s far from the truth. Business is moving online, and if your startup can move along with it, then there’s no reason why it can’t become the next Amazon.
With all that said, what does your eCommerce site need in order to stand out from the rest? Well, Linda Bustos from GetElastic.com just made 5 great points. Here they are:
- Take a costumer centric approach: Your costumers are what make your business grow. You need to make the site friendly for them, in order for them to keep coming back.
- Provide detailed product information: why? So people know what they’re buying. Plus, search engines love content. The higher they index you, the more visits you’ll have, and more costumers will come by your site.
- Have efficient logistics: You need to plan out how you’re going to get your products out. You can’t rely on the mail or FedEx. It’s a key part of your business, so take good care of it.
- Choose your platform wisely: Choose a platform that will allow you to change fast, like the game does. You can’t be a dinosaur in this thing we call the internet.
