New SEO Trends You Should Look Into
The guys from Blue Fountain Media were kind enough to share with us some secret SEO tips that are becoming more and more popular. They did it through this great post from YoungEntrepreneur.com, and it’s worth taking a look at.
SEO is a dangerous game. No one really knows the rules, but some are closer to the truth than others. Google is an interesting boss of sorts. You never know what makes him happy, but if you make him happy, then you’ll get more shine and more bucks in the long run.
Here are the new tips:
- Contextual Linking: The importance on navigational links has diminished over the years. What Google is looking for now are links within a text. For example, on a blog post, place tons of links. Yes, it might not look too good, but you have to strike the balance between annoyingly massive linking and scarce contextual links.
- Guest Posting: Since “nofollow” links became hot, commenting on tons of blog posts isn’t worth it anymore. What you need is a guest post on a more popular blog, and you need to use that chance to link to your site or blog. That way, people will read about you and the site you guest spot on will link to you contextually.
- Linking Out: You can’t put up crazy long link lists anymore. What you need to do is mention a blog or site on a blog post, and then have them link back to you. Remember it’s all contextual.
