Tips/AdviceWeb Resources For Startups
This recent article highlighted some of the best resources on the web today for those about to strike forth and launch a startup of their own. As I think I have said before, knowledge is definitely power, and as someone once told me with a wry smile, “if you don’t know yourself, you must at least have the phone number of the one who knows at hand”. Keep these URLs in mind, they will help you all along the way – not just when starting up, but also some way beyond.
The Netsetter: A blog about web-based businesses, the way they operate and the rules that are written along with the unwritten ones. Run by Collis Ta’eed.
Venture Beat: A blog that can be counted upon when it comes to understanding how the entrepreneurial and venture community operates.
How To Change The World: Guy Kawasaki’s blog. Need I say more?
Men With Pens: A Canadian productivity blog. Concise and right to the point.
Venture Hacks: A very good news source, and one written in a style of its own – defying and thought-provoking, but always on the spot.
The Startup Lawyer: You guessed it. Legal advice aplenty.
Independent Street: This is actually the Wall Street Journal blog, a fact that gives it added oomph and makes it a reliable source indeed.
Inc.: A website that will teach you that thinking big yields the best results.
Notice something? Yes, Killer Startups did not make the original list. You obviously know our site – 15 startups get reviewed there per working day, and you can learn a lot about different approaches and business models by reading these reviews.
